Break down those walls into the arms of love

Dress:vintage,ebay
Belt:Mango
Knit oversized cardigan:Hand sewn by my mom
Heels:vintage,etsy.com

Monday started off with lots of work to complete and the blues again as always.
But today ended well as I head for my 2nd job interview today. This time went really well and the person was so nice too, unlike the previous one.Always nice when someone that makes you feel yourself during an interview so you get less nervous. For now,I have to wait for a confirmation call and I'm good to go.

So Chinese New Year is just two two weeks away for now and I can't contain m
y excitement. All the good food plus the red money packets, wearing new clothes too! So when I saw my package after getting home,my jaws literally fell to the ground. It was a Christmas gift from Patty of Alpha Beta Chic. She was super sweet to get me a Rodarte for Target skirt! Ahhh, because I never thought of owning anything from the collection since we don't have a target here and everything is sold out so fast in the States.
The photos doesn't tell how gorgeous it really is,will have to wear it soon. This will add on nicely to my collection of new clothes to wear.

I have exciting news to share with everyone.
Who loves flea markets? But sometimes you always feel so warm as it's held outdoors most of the time. Fret not now,my friend Denise and few of her friends will be selling their stuff for really affordable prices. In the comfort from Denise's home! Unused nail polish, clothes and lots more from $2 to $20! There will also be a few branded things an "atas" corner that she's setting up. It'll have things from Marc by Marc Jacobs,Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood,Armani Exchange etc.

There will be homemade lemonade and free beer(not confirmed at this point) so this will be a chill afternoon of laidback fun, good music.
This FLEA PARTY will be held 6th February 2010,Saturday.
12pm to 6pm at 13 Harvey Close(Near Simei MRT).
Do come and join in the fun.
For those who are not sure where is it,you can email me or leave a comment.

I simply adore that cardigan! I can't believe your mother hand sewed that- she is truly talented. It looks so comfy and cozy and I love how you paired it with that beautiful vintage dress.

Ooh and what a wonderful gift from Patty; can't wait to see how you wear it!

Much love,
Amy

the oversized cardigan looks so good with the vintage dress. i've always been so jealous of those kind of homemade crafts becuase my mom's not like that at all. love her, but there's no way she's sitting down and making something for me- not even a pb&j sandwich, haha
