Hi Everyone!

You all must be wondering what have I been up to and disappeared for months now.. First and foremost, I still love fashion and it will always be a passion of mine.

As for fashion blogging, I've decided to give it a break for now. I'm not sure when if ever I'll be coming back to it but the blog will still be here if you would want to see past blog posts.

Moving on, life has been awesome. Year 2011 has been one of the greatest years for me. I've stayed on with my new job since early april and my bosses are the most amazing and gracious people ever! Also, in October 2011 I went on a whole new healthy lifestyle change and a diet and lost over 12kg. It feels so amazing to be fit and healthy again. I was not obese but was on the heavier side for a girl and one day I just decided enough was enough. Seeing those numbers on the scale going up made me felt sick and decided I need and want to be healthier!

Moving on, that inspired to start a youtube channel to share my views with everyone on eating right and being healthy. I've just only started this so I'm still learning the ropes and it's only a few videos for now. You can click on here to see more if you like. For now, I'll be posting regularly on youtube and so if you're still interested in following me.. You'll know where I'll be.

Lastly, I do hope this is not the end.

Always feel like spinning around when I have this skirt on. Easy to match with any top or bodysuit and you're good to go. Work has been great so far, currently planning on more short trips overseas mainly with my family and to attend a friend's wedding.

Lately, I've been wanting to travel more often and each time brings a whole new experience to oneself and I do like that. Discovering and exploring.

Been busy with my new job hence the slight one week's of absence here. Involved in working at a clothing store which focus on bringing in Asian designers in one place. Anyhow, I had a good time last weekend. Firstly, it was the 5th Anniversary for my boyfriend and I and we took a day trip to Malaysia and it was nice to getaway for a day. Also had time to catch up with awesome friends over lunch! Yummy food after food till I ate so full.

IS there a clear preference of what you would wear on a daily basis? It gets confusing for me at times as I stare long at my closet figuring out what to wear. But this is something that's easy to throw on and I can run on miles with. Comfy and chic is the way to go about at times.

I'm about to start on a new adventure starting next week and I'm glad things always works out alright in the end. It'll be an exciting day to look forward to~

This was taken back in Sydney when we were prepping to head out for dinner at Pancakes on the Rocks. I had gone to shave off more hair on the side of my head and wearing it out. How does it feel you might say having an undercut? You feel lighter on one side of your head and cooler. A good thing sometimes I must say. I have good news to share with everyone but not so fast now. Something personal but joyous~

Hey everyone, I'm back I'm back~

I had tons of fun in Sydney and took tons of photos so do be prepared for photos overload here. Met up with my gorgeous close friend, Joelyne of The Sydney Girl whom we actually met through blogging and we've just hit it off when she came to visit Singapore last year and so it was my turn to visit her in Sydney and I was so happy to meet up with her again. It's sometimes surreal how we met and became such good friends thereafter but I'm always grateful I've gotten to know Joelyne!

She surely did an awesome job showing me around to all the hot spots and now makes me feel like moving over! Thanks so much Joelyne and don't worry, I'll be back in no time again.

of suede and canvas and is absolutely lovely. Really comfy too, which is a plus in any shoe.

So look, I've worn something green again. Yes, I love the color quite a fair bit. Absolute favorite shade of it would be mint green. Does this count? Weather past few days has been so bad, kept raining each day and makes every night so cool. Didn't feel the need to layer up today hence a pretty simple outfit which I had only five minutes to grab and go.

My Cotton Ink bag always comes in handy and always matches most outfit I wear, plus I've gotten lots of compliments on it even from my guy friends!

Have you ever been attracted to a color or a few colors naturally each time you shop?? I know I have, it would always be the same few colors and I've been picking green lately. That's how the story of this vintage number came along. The simple design and pleating at the bottom is gorgeous and I call it 'Tea party dress', something I'll wear to a picnic.

Thinking about that, it's been ages since I last went to one. I should go about planning one soon.

A fruitful weekend it has been, flea markets, regular gym sessions and I'm pretty much ready for the week to start over. Kept within a low budget while shopping at the flea and scored an amazing skirt and gorgeous top. I'll take photos and show you next time around.

I'm envious my sister's got a better camera than me. I'm currently using a Nikon D60 while hers is a Nikon D90. I believe mine has good features too if you know know to fully use it. Anyhow, still practicing my photography skills. Weather's here has been up and down plus really warm afternoons, good to dress in lighter colors and accessorize more.

Well well well, I'm finally back~ Yes, this time for good! No kidding. Took almost 5 months' break now, left my job and off to a new adventure again. Feeling happier for the first time in so long, it's all worth it after all. People may nag, but I don't want to be bothered too much by it.

Had a fun photo shoot few weeks back with a good friend from work, budding photographer Muz! Thanks so much for getting me into this, had so much fun and I look awesome:)

Yes yes, I'm back! Guess I'll say this is my comeback post. Headed to JB with my colleagues over the weekend and we surely did had a blast! Lots of shopping,food and I bought so much snacks home that I had to use my baggu bag to store everything.

They had Nandos in Malaysia too, I was totally excited when I saw it. Yes, the food was amazing and I know I'm such a food junkie! Food is surely on my mind all the time. So girls, are we ready for another trip?? Let's all make it a road trip to Thailand:)

As for blogging, work has consumed so much of my life but I'm ready to be back. I won't say I will surely blog as often back then, but surely at my own comfortable pace. I do hope there are still readers out there reading this space.

YESSSS,I'm back again! This is my 1st outfit post since my irregular blogging started. Firstly,I don't have much new clothing to wear and haven't been really shopping. Sorry been away from blogging again the few days,I need to be on it regularly. Anyhow,I've been busy showing Joelyne and Stella around the island of Singapore. I'm so happy and glad that both of them were here and Joelyne,I was super excited to see her!

As in we both have known each other for a year now and finally getting to meet face to face,I was so excited! Cheers to more years of friendship:)We went to many places over the past 3 days! Bugis area,Sentosa and many places as well as taking neoprints too! So much fun with that.

Hey everyone! I know it's been awhile and many of you are thinking where have I been?! Well,I really wanted to take a break from blogging and just rest. Plus at that moment,I didn't have the vibe to dress up. Don't want to fill you all in with uninteresting content.

Fishtail braid I did 4 days back,and braided them yesterday again!

So so sorry for not blogging for almost a week! Ahhhhh,so busy with the renovations at home and doing up my new room. Nope,it's not ready yet. I'm still in the midst of picking out furniture and small items to decorate my room. I want to make it look cosy due to the small space I have to work with.
The theme you might ask,it's a retro hippies vibe,you all know me. I love love the 1960s so I do hope I can create the same thing with my room. Anyone out there knows any key elements or ideas for my room?

Anyhow,I've been into fishtail braid lately and it's such a easy yet different way to the normal braids.It's not really clear in the picture above. But for anyone who's curious and wants to try it. Here's the video I followed on youtube:)
P.S you realized I'm not wearing accessories. It's because all of them are now kept in boxes.

Had a pretty relaxing weekend where I had lots of rest and stayed home to watch movies. But on Sunday,went out to celebrate my love grandma's birthday. We ordered a huge cake for her and it sure was yummy! Even the inner layer of the cake was filled with fruits. I ate quite a lot of those red eggs and like you can see,buffet was superb!

I've finally reached 300 followers!!! It did came up slow,but I'm so happy. Thanks so so much to everyone who has been reading and more awesome posts to come~

I'm back from my short break from blogging. Feels super good to be back of course! Had a pretty alright weekend and meet up with my dad on Sunday. Spent the whole afternoon catching up and also he bought some goodies back for me from his trips.

I got a new pair of havaianas from the upcoming World Cup collection that my dad bought from Brazil and a shirt from Texas. I do like what it says on it :) Apprently,the Brazil team filp-flops are sold out. Hmm,who do you think will win this year? Oh yes,and a pair of shorts for myself too! Recently,I've been more into pants than wearing skirts. I mean dresses not counted,but pants or like the ones I'm wearing today has got me hooked on them. I've been thinking lately,how do those designers like in USA or Europe get so famous?? Surely because their locals support them that's the first thing. So likewise,I myself have to support local designers here too. That's one way to help the brand grow I guess.

I finally bought this pair of harem pants/shorts from the local label,Nicholas. Some of you must have heard of him, I love all the drapey clothing that they have. What's more,the shop is just next to where I work. Going to surely buy more local brands now :)

Still no luck with my camera charger,my mom keeps claiming she didn't throw it away. Oh well.

It was such a blast yesterday celebrating my birthday. It was a whole day of events and I got so tired last night didn't even had the mood to blog. My beautiful dress was made by my lovely friend,Erica. She was sweet to add in few more goodies when she sent my dress as well. Thanks! Headed for brunch during the day with my love where he surprised me with a bouquet of pink roses that had couple bears and a heart balloon.

Next came long hours of tattoo session. I got the classic pin-up girl tattoo. Some parts of it hurt so badly that I was crushing the cushion that became so crumbled. I had a hard time photographing her by myself,so do bear with me when I take better photos with my camera. I need my missing charger back! Back to the point,the photo doesn't do justice. She is so much more gorgeous up close.
Dinner at Tony Roma's was super yummy and we all ate so full till there was no space left for cake. Without my DSLR,I realized I didn't snap as much photos. I'm sorry on not being able to capture more outfit shots.

Thank you to everyone out there who wished me Happy Birthday,you all made me one happy girl! Big thanks to my family and my love for celebrating with me too. I'm never complete without you :) I love you!

(Sorry for a wordy post today,I've got quite a bit to say)

Aren't DIYs always so much fun to do? Once you complete it,you'll feel rather proud that you've made something on your own. Finally got to wearing out my drape vest I made awhile back. There were some loose fabric around the shop,so I just sip and cut and I got it done. I'm proud of what I made and it looks good on me. Pssst,I've switched to side fringe now. Giving my bangs a rest:)

Why have I been so excited about tomorrow? Because it's my 20th birthday tomorrow and I'm super happy. A whole day of events and awesome dinner and cake too! I'm still not sure how I'll take photos/video or maybe even polaroids. Anyhow,I will document tomorrow down in some way.

So twenties here I come! Not too excited about growing a year older,but bring it on. Just want to say a big thank you thank you to all my readers and all the support everyone has given me till today. It will be a year since I've started blogging this July,can you imagine??

Wearing all black is normally a no no issue with me,so I try to add colors into each outfit I put on. Sometimes I feel all black makes me look emo and I don't want that. So my camera charger is still missing somewhere in the house and I'm stuck with the moment from using my sister's Iphone to take photos. Really sorry if they look a little blurry and not as good. Miss using my DSLR right now,need to find that charger or got to go purchase a new one.

Anyhow,I love berets and even in this hot weather I would never hesitate to throw one on. There will be stares for sure,but I don't bother. And I'm glad to have this shirt on,the design is so adorable and actually spells ' Don't worry,Be happy'. Common you might say,but so true.

I'm really pleased with how the photos turned out this morning. Natural lighting is indeed still the best. So today started off really bad. Talk about Monday blues. To add on to this morning's blues,I misplaced my camera charger and now my camera's dead.

Good thing I snapped today's outfit before it totally went flat. Of course,that doesn't stop me from taking photos and blogging. I'll have to stick with my mobile phone for the meantime. Need my camera alive again. Oh by the way,my phone takes really clear photos. Wearing a new necklace I got courtesy of ClubCouture and its really so adorable. There's a small bird that has gotten out of its cage. I also selected a dress and will show it to you all very soon.

Retarded photo my sister snap of me!

I thought I was running out of clothes to wear for good when I found this dress just around in my house. It was from a swap awhile back and I've not worn it before till now. It was kind of irritating at first due to it riding up but after awhile,the dress stayed where it's suppose to be. We all have wardrobe mishaps at time,don't we?

I'm trying to find a better way to blog faster while having a full time job. So I took outfit photos this morning before I left for work,it felt much better and I love natural lighting. Guess I'll do that from now on. At least getting the photos up early in the morning,gives me ample time to blog it later in the day and I won't be rushing every night after work.

Things are slowly picking up with the blog and I am slowly getting back into the mode of being really active. Been irregular at it for almost 2 months surely needs me to adjust to it again. I'm getting there,yes I am.

I'm back from the busy weekend filled with packing. Oh gosh,I don't know how many times I've said I'm sorry lately for not blogging regularly and also saying 'I'm back'. Sorry for lesser updates last week,as currently due to the fashion blogger contest which comes out on Friday. I always leave the post up so everyone would be able to see it. Back yes,I'm still very much into blogging. Its just that I really need to push myself to get back on track with all comments and blogs.
To be honest,I've been lazy and really restless lately. So I need to boost myself up and get back on my feet. So much to catch up on really and I miss it a whole lot.

Enough of ranting,this outfit was taken awhile back when I went with the Tangs fashion show with Sarah and Yiqin. I do love all the clothing in general,very spring and something I would throw on on any day. The models all had long flowy hair too,just lovely.
The romper I'm wearing was quite a steal and I do love the repeating white patterns against the black piece. Rompers or playsuits like some would call it is appearing more often in my closet as given the weather here lately,its just perfect and comfortable too.

Today is special day as its my love's and I anniversary. So I took the day off and we went on lots of shopping and eating as you can see. The 1st Japanese steamboat we had had the cutest panda-like fishcakes which made me almost not wanting to eat them.

Actually,I was acting like some monster ripping off the body as I was eating. The funniest thing happened at the arcade with the basketball shooting machine too. The score was cranky and kept shooting up my score real high! Look,I scored a total of 660 points! Amazing~

I thought this jacket was gone for good around the house when I saw it this morning! Hello there,my denim jacket. Are denims still in trend? Do you follow trends? I tend to sometimes to be honest but I try to stay away from them. Colors of the red range came all on with my outfit today,it occurs that I do wear a lot of the same color range at one time recently.
This week ends early for me,taking Thursday off and Friday is a public holiday here. It will be an extra long weekend for me!

I guess florals would continue for some time. Surely we will be seeing many bright colors used in clothing,more abstract prints in long flowly dresses and more outrageous shoes collections!

To me,it means that girls can take charge too! Even if its something that is huge in one's life,we girls can surely pull it off. We are not to be belittled by others and girls can surely have the brains and beauty too.

2 outfits in one today,both with my new drapey front jacket I bought from h&m. Thanks to Denise,I managed to get my hands on this! So I couldn't resist wearing my green romper out again but with just a different jacket. Can't help it,this jacket is such a beauty. The weekend was filled with lots of home spring cleaning and also snapping photos for the 2nd outfit of the blogger's competition. I ended up with loads of mozzies bites but the photos turned out awesome. Credits surely go to my sister who helped me.

Camera on low battery and sudden shut down while I'm taking photos these few days. Those are some irritating moments that ends each day. Aside from that,my photos came out weird for this outfit. But I do love my new romper I bought from Dirty Pretty Things. The bright green mint color stole my heart and it is so gorgeous! Colors just keep invading my closet and it's a good thing to see so much colors around. I guess different colors do make a difference in making you feel happy and at ease too.

Yes,I wanted to blog yesterday but each night I get home late,all I think of is heading to bed.

Had great fun yesterday meeting up with Shantee! She was here for the weekend from Malaysia and we went shopping,chilling and lots of walking. She was such a nice person and really down to earth. Minni, Shantee's friend and Yiqin were there too! Now,on my agenda for my travels is heading back to Malaysia to visit. Will have to work on that and make it happen:)

Shopping,lots of girly talk and to end off the day,dinner at Ashton's. Super yummy and really affordable western food. I can't believe it was my 1st time dining there,have to go back there often for sure. I bought a romper from Shantee's online store and also a new pouch for my ipod nano. Terribly sorry that I've not been blogging for 2 days now!!! Work has been really busy the past few days and getting prep up for the blogger contest too. But yes,I'm not disappearing away or anything. I've not been able to snap any outfit post lately,so here are photos from what's happening the past few days.

Any clothing that is long and flowy attracts me right away. Just like this maxi skirt I got,I've been eyeing on it for awhile now and finally got my hands on one. Having wear almost all black got quite a few stares like I was some zombie or something. I love it alright,just missing some flowers in my hair and my vast grass fields would have been perfect! I guess my summer clothes list is going well. What are some items everyone wants that's good for Spring?

I've been busy at the store lately due to a new collection coming up and a media party too. Mixed feelings about my new job I'm in. Gets upsetting at times when I still unable to focus fully on the blog but on the other hand I'm learning so much new things relating to fashion and its so amazing.

Nothing made my happier than wearing these tights out! Many little kids got staring and pointing,I guess they are saying the same thing,it being too adorable. Many of us got into the craze of heart tights with the mini black hearts,but I'm glad I got this pair with mini red hearts. My sister got them from me from her recent trip back from Hong Kong. Thanks a whole lot girl :)

Thanks for everyone on all their sweet comments regarding the photoshoot pictures and on the blogger contest I'm currently in. I certainly had lots of fun and won't mind doing another one anytime. More photos will be coming up from the photoshoot soon.

This weekend will be so exciting as I have a friend coming to visit and we'll be doing lots of shopping and eating. Will reveal that when it comes closer to the weekend~

The photoshoot I did over the weekend was so much fun! Thanks to Sarah for letting me in on this. Here's just two photos from the shoot,the rest will be up when they have been edited.

We were actually heading to Old Changi Hospital to do an outdoor photoshoot. Halfway through it,we got chased out by the security and had to look for a studio instead to continue our shoot. It was kinda funny being chased out,wasn't expecting that at all. I was too engrossed in changing the outfits and thinking of poses that I managed only a few outtakes on the shoot. Learned a few tricks on posing and awesome time all together. I loved the chair that Sarah painted herself,you're a talent girl!

Which girl doesn't love packages in her mailbox? I went to the post office and picked up some garters I bought! Thanks so much to Denise that I managed to get them from h&m. They are so gorgeous up close in person.

Oh yes and the good blogger contest news I was tweeting about. I got into the finals of Tampines 1 Fashion Super Blogger Contest! I'm was so happy when I got the call. There are be 6 finalists in total and I'm excited on the whole event. Wish me luck and I will need you all out there to help vote when it actually starts. Will be keeping everyone updated for sure.

I was bored at work and no one was around in the store,so I randomly vlog. It was pretty funny as I kept looking out to see if anyone was coming in and laughed and thought why I would talk to myself. Not something fashion related,but it was good fun.

Like I said on the video,I'm not heading to the flea market tomorrow. But lots of fun ahead planned and I can't wait to spend some time with my love too. Honey,I miss you lots!

Hot warm sun shining down on me today,but its so cold indoors at the place I work that my hands freeze all the time. With the weird weather climates these days,it ain't stopping me from wearing my velvet blazer. Yes,I'm in love with in more and more. Spring has arrived and what are you coveting this season?

Being sweet and edgy are two things that do go well together.

Be it a dress with rugged boots, a skirt with loud rocker prints things need not need to be matchy matchy anymore. Past few days,I've come across quite a few people who buys clothes in different pattern but same design to go with an outfit. There isn't a need for that at all. The fun thing with dressing up is putting different elements and making one your own outfit.

Wearing my dress and a new body chain I got from Winnie. I actually got this during CNY,but the chains needed to be adjusted and they are back with me again. I love the design of it and it's a statement piece I can wear on any day. My plans for saving up are so far so good. I'm coping well on spending lesser on clothes. Going to local fleas are a good option on saving some cash. I might do a post on it how to get the best out of a flea with a low budget.

Purple will be staying more in my closet. I once said never been a fan of purple,but each time I keep proving myself wrong. During the weekend, I got these purple leggings from Uniqlo and they are so affordable. Now I surely want to head back to get more colors.A simple tee and my velvet blazer is good as the leggings were already so bright.

My legs are aching all day from walking. No wait,its been aching since I started working at the new place. Guess I'm still not used to the working hours now. My dreams of getting an Iphone soon are dashed. My mobile plan cannot get one anytime soon. So anyone out there who are willing to sell their Iphones(I'm serious),please do let me know.

I'm sorry if I'm talking nonsense here,I'm really tired as I'm typing this. Blog reading and commenting hasn't been as smooth too. Giving myself encouragement,you can do it!

Yesterday was a whole day out of fun despite the hot and humid weather.
Went for a picnic at the Botanic Gardens organized by Sarah of the Sarah's Loft and Melly of Green Laundry. It was the first picnic I ever went to and I had tons of fun meeting new people,lots of laughs and just chilling and chatting. Big smiley cake for everyone. No one's birthday in particular so we sang a birthday song to everyone.

Met new people(Sorry if I cannot remember names,bad at that) and some that I've already known. Bread stick with yummy guacamole dip and carrot soup was on the picnic's menu. Yummy yum and we had the most adorable cups for our soups too! So I guess there's no such thing as a picnic outfit. Kept thinking in my head what would be good for a picnic but the most important thing is its comfortable to move around in. This was what I came up with I guess its alright.

Headed for some shopping after and got new purple leggings from Uniqlo. Since when they had their leggings collection?! Anyhow,I love the shade of purple I got.
And to those Alice In Wonderland fans,go grab your tickets for the movie IN 3D! I'm watching mine in a few hours time,can't wait~

Review:Nokia N97 mini

Thanks to Shira from WOMWorld/Nokia,I had the privilege to have the Nokia N97 mini for a trial period of two weeks.

It was indeed an honor to be able to try out the phone beside famous worldwide bloggers like BryanBoy (!!!), Christian of After-a-Fashion, and Bagaholic Boy! Do you see BryanBoy,he is super famous in the fashion world! I was so excited to try out this £429 phone! Anyhow,let's get back to the review.

The look of Nokia N97 mini is sleek and professional looking. I do love how the phone can slide up sideways and it reveals the keypad. The menu selection on the phone is kept neat and proper,but for me I felt it was too little not as spread like the rest of the Nokia series. As I'm using a touch screen keyboard now with my Samsung Jet,it took awhile to get used to the N97 mini's keyboard. The buttons don't work as well,I had a hard time pressing on some of the alphabets.

The music player quality is so clear and I love you get to adjust the different settings for different kinds of music.So for example like Jazz,the sound comes out softer yet still as clear. And the internal 8GB memory makes it so much easier to store up all my songs I want to add.

The 5.2 Megapixels is very clear as well,with the multiple functions and multi shots,perfect for someone like me who loves to takes photos most of the time.

What's the final verdict? Its a phone for people who are always on the go and lots of meetings/events to head to. A phone for the business with a edge of professionalism. Would I buy this phone personally? No,as I prefer a phone that has more fun features and games I could play with.

Weather is so warm these days it calls for a summer dress. No such thing really as a summer dress from where I'm from here because its tropical weather all year round. I'm loving my huge glasses more these days. Overdue contact lenses have forced me to wear my glasses often. But I love that they do give me that eccentric vibe.

Oh yes,I got my acorn necklace and its so gorgeous. Been wanting it from this store in town for about 2 months now and I finally took a trip down to buy it. Didn't regret anything.

Tomorrow marks the start of the weekend and I can't wait for it to arrive. Lots of packing of packages to be mail out and also I'm heading for a picnic on Saturday organised by Sarah and Melly. It will be so much fun and lots of girl talk too. The next day would be spent with my love and also I do hope we can catch Alice In Wonderland in 3D. Super hyped on for that.
